Job Description

Overview


The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Florida Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) is an integral member of the healthcare team responsible for the specialized care of patients undergoing surgical procedures and those with critical cardiovascular conditions.

This role is essential in providing highquality nursing care in a fastpaced and complex environment. The RN collaborates with surgeons anesthesiologists and a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient assessment intervention and education.

The CVICU RN is responsible for monitoring vital signs administering medications and executing tailored care plans. In addition the RN plays a pivotal role in family communication reassuring them during critical times.


Key Responsibilities


  • 1 year of Acute Care RN experience

Required Qualifications


  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse in Florida.
  • Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience preferably in CVICU or critical care settings.
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
