Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room (ER) plays a crucial role in the healthcare team providing immediate and comprehensive care to patients experiencing acute medical conditions. This position is pivotal in fastpaced highstakes environments where nurses are often the first line of response to trauma illness and urgent health crises. RNs in the ER are expected to assess patients rapidly provide critical interventions collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure optimal patient outcomes. They are responsible for witnessing the entire spectrum of patient care from initial assessment through stabilization and eventual transfer to appropriate care settings. Their expertise not only contributes to the health and wellbeing of individual patients but also fosters a safety culture within the hospital. Essential qualities for this role include quick thinking strong clinical skills and the ability to remain calm under pressure.
Key Responsibilities
- 1 year of acute care experience (within the last 3 years) Required. Trauma experience Preferred.
- ER and trauma experience is preferred but not required.
- We will consider candidate with Med/Surg experience (3 years) or
- 1 year of PCU ICU CVICU NICU PICU etc is good within the last three years.
