RN Emergency Room (Hispanic) Fulltime
Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room is a vital member of the healthcare team responsible for delivering highquality patientcentered care in a fastpaced environment. This role is particularly significant for serving the Hispanic community facilitating effective communication and fostering trust among patients and their families. The RN will assess plan implement and evaluate care for patients with various medical conditions working closely with physicians support staff and other healthcare professionals. The Emergency Room RN is crucial in ensuring that patients receive timely and appropriate interventions making critical decisions and providing emotional support during distressful situations. By utilizing advanced nursing skills and cultural sensitivity this position plays a key role in improving patient outcomes and enhancing the overall healthcare experience.
Available Shifts:
- Nights (Rotating Weekends) (7p7a) *More Openings for Nights *Higher Need
- Days (Rotating Weekends) (7A7p)
Required Qualifications
ER and trauma experience is preferred but not required.
If someone is coming from Med/Surgical we would like to see at least three years RN experience
otherwise one year of PCU ICU CVICU NICU PICU etc is good within the last three years.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelor s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 23 years of experience in an emergency room or critical care setting.
- Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Fluency in both English and Spanish.
- Experience with patient education and advocacy.
- Understanding of HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations.
- Effective leadership and mentoring abilities.
- Willingness to work flexible hours including nights and weekends.
