Overview
The RNFL PCU (Registered Nurse Florida Progressive Care Unit) plays a vital role in delivering highquality nursing care to patients experiencing moderate to severe health challenges. This role is crucial within the healthcare team providing both direct patient care and oversight of patient conditions in a Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
Key Responsibilities
1 year of acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years). Looking for someone that has Adaptability; customer focused; Teamwork experience.
Required Qualifications
- Valid RN license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in a hospital setting PCU or equivalent.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Demonstrated competency in critical care nursing practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong problemsolving and critical thinking abilities.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- Skilled in patient education and advocacy.
- Understanding of ethical standards in nursing practice.
- Physical stamina and emotional resilience for a highstress environment.
