Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient assessments related to orthopedic conditions.
• Administer prescribed medications and monitor their effects on patient outcomes.
• Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
• Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to promote recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and postoperative care.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs pain levels and overall health status.

Required Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida.
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic nursing or a closely related field.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Experience with pain management techniques.
