Overview
The RNOrthopedics role is a critical position within our healthcare facility aimed at delivering highquality nursing care to patients with orthopedic conditions. This position involves working closely with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals to assess plan implement and evaluate patient care. The RN will play a vital role in patient recovery and rehabilitation ensuring that all aspects of the orthopedic nursing process are followed meticulously. As integral team members RNs in orthopedics will monitor patients progress administer medications and support surgical interventions. This role demands a blend of clinical expertise empathy and time management skills to create a safe and supportive environment for patients undergoing orthopedic treatments. Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams are essential making this position indispensable for providing comprehensive care and achieving optimal patient outcomes.

Days (Rotating Weekends): 7a7p
Nights (Rotating Weekends): 7p7a
1 year of Recent RN experience.
LTAC EXPERIENCE
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments related to orthopedic conditions.
- Administer prescribed medications and monitor their effects on patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons and other healthcare professionals for patient care.
- Implement and evaluate nursing interventions to promote recovery.
- Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and postoperative care.
- Monitor and document patient vital signs pain levels and overall health status.
Required Qualifications
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Florida.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in orthopedic nursing or a closely related field.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Experience with pain management techniques.
