Job Description
Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and document findings.
- Monitor and manage side effects of treatments and report changes to the medical team.
- Provide patient education on treatment plans medications and lifestyle modifications.
- Offer emotional support and counseling to patients and their families.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans.
- Assist in coordination of care including treatment schedules and referrals
- Educate patients about clinical trials and research opportunities.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of oncology care standards and best practices.
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license in the state of Florida.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in oncology nursing.
- Fluency in Spanish and English.
