Job Description
Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care including administering medications and treatments.
- Assess and document patient conditions and progress.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to devise and implement individualized care plans.
- Ensure adherence to cultural considerations and effective communication with Hispanic patients and their families.
- Monitor and operate medical equipment as required for patient care.
- Assist in emergency medical situations and respond to patient needs promptly and effectively.
- Participate in patient and family education regarding medical conditions and treatment plans.
- Adhere to established protocols and safety standards to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to maintain highquality care and positive patient outcomes.
- Manage and prioritize multiple patient care tasks effectively.
Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of Acute Care MedSurg RN experience Required
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
- Registered Nurse
- Associate Degree
- Ability to handle highstress situations and emergency care effectively.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
