Job Description

Overview:

The Sales Telesales role is crucial to the organization as it directly impacts the companys revenue through outbound calling to potential customers promoting products or services and securing sales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Make outbound calls to potential customers and maintain a professional and positive attitude.
  • Promote and sell products or services to potential customers.
  • Understand the customers requirements and recommend the appropriate products or services.
  • Keep accurate and detailed records of calls made and outcomes achieved.
  • Meet or exceed sales targets and activity metrics.
  • Handle customer queries and provide appropriate solutions.
  • Follow up on leads generated from marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct customer or market research as needed.
  • Build and maintain a strong understanding of products or services offered.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to achieve sales goals.
  • Stay updated with product knowledge industry trends and competitive landscape.
  • Participate in regular sales training and meetings to improve skills and performance.
  • Adhere to all company policies procedures and business ethics codes.
  • Provide regular feedback and updates to the sales manager.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment and company culture.

Required Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; degree in a related field is a plus.
  • Prior experience in telesales or similar sales/customer service role.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to handle objections and demonstrate persistence.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Good time management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of telesales techniques and best practices.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools and other relevant software.
  • Flexibility to work in shifts and adapt to changing business needs.
  • Positive attitude willingness to learn and receptiveness to feedback.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
  • Proactive and selfmotivated approach to work.
