Since launching in 2018 Wolt has expanded to over 35 cities across Croatia. After successfully building our Restaurant and Retail Delivery businesses last year we launched Wolt Drive a service that gives partners access to Wolts industryleading lastmile logistics platform. Companies can connect to the Wolt Drive network to offer ultrafast deliveries of goods and parcels directly through their apps or ecommerce platforms creating seamless experiences for their customers.
As a Business Development Manager you will take ownership of Wolt Drives business strategy and execution in Croatia. From crafting gotomarket strategies to building strong partnerships and managing a full P&L youll play a pivotal role in making Wolt Drive a success. We have a great base to start from and your focus will be to establish and scale this up in the local market.
What youll be doing
- Take full ownership of this vertical including full P&L ownership and owning commercial and operational KPIs
- Develop and execute a gotomarket strategy for Wolt Drive in Croatia tailored to the needs of the local market.
- Identify and establish new strategic partnerships with businesses that can benefit from our ultrafast delivery services.
- Drive growth by managing and scaling existing accounts identifying opportunities for deeper collaboration.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients proactively resolving issues and ensuring an excellent experience with Wolt services.
- Leverage data to make sound business decisions refine strategies and support your intuition with actionable insights.
- Collaborate with Wolt leadership and crossfunctional teams (Product Analytics Marketing Operations and Support) to deliver a winning proposition for the market.
- Work closely with the restaurant and retail sales teams to identify opportunities for expanding partnerships into Wolt Drive.
- Ensure we have the right integrations in place to win the market
Qualifications :
- Proven success in solution sales or business development with experience in SaaS marketplaces eCommerce or lastmile logistics being a significant advantage.
- Additional experience in management consulting or a highgrowth startup environment is a strong plus.
- A track record of closing partnerships with companies of various sizes from Clevel executives to small business owners.
- Exceptional commercial and strategic thinking with the ability to develop a business from scratch understand diverse business models and identify opportunities and bottlenecks.
- Strong collaborative experience having worked across internal teams to bring complex deals to life.
- Advanced analytical skills including the ability to translate data into actions analyze sales metrics and pricing models and producing relevant KPIs.
- Expertise in both new client acquisition and developing existing accounts with a focus on longterm growth and relationshipbuilding.
- A consultative sales approach tailoring solutions and business models to meet the unique needs of each partner.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities thrive in a fastpaced dynamic environment and deliver results in a fastpaced dynamic environment.
- Fluency in both Croatian and English.
