About the role
As an Business Development Manager at The Amazon Guru you will play a critical role in driving outbound growth and success for our seller partners on Amazon. Your responsibilities will encompass brand onboarding customer service management and launching highvalue sellers including distributors and directtoconsumer (D2C) brands. You will leverage datadriven insights to optimize business growth conduct joint business planning and manage key events to ensure a successful seller experience.

Key Responsibilities:
Expansion Strategy: Develop strategies to expand the seller base and product offerings analyzing market trends to identify new opportunities.
HighValue Seller Launch: Identify and onboard highvalue sellers including distributors and D2C brands while collaborating on tailored launch strategies to maximize market potential.
Brand Collaborations: Engage marquee and midsized brands to expand the portfolio and drive sales fostering strong stakeholder relationships to support collaboration.
Joint Business Planning: Facilitate joint business planning sessions to analyze data and develop strategic growth plans leveraging market insights for improvement.
Brand Onboarding: Manage the onboarding of new brands to ensure a smooth integration into the Amazon marketplace while coordinating internal setup for optimal visibility.
Customer Service Management: Oversee customer service operations to guarantee high satisfaction levels and swift issue resolution developing training resources to enhance support quality.
Account Management: Provide datadriven insights to enhance catalog performance and drive growth conducting regular reviews to share actionable recommendations.
Event Management: Manage key events like the Amazon Great Indian Festival and Prime Day ensuring successful execution and active seller participation.
Team Collaborations: Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to align efforts and support seller initiatives enhancing overall business performance through knowledge sharing.
Team Development: Identify growth opportunities for Junior BDMs and provide mentorship to enhance their professional development and capabilities.
Company Principles & Culture Development: Uphold company values and foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration innovation and continuous improvement
Experience:
  1. 5 years of experience in business development account management or customer success preferably Amazon.
  2. Demonstrated experience in onboarding new brands and managing their integration into the Amazon marketplace.
  3. Proven track record of launching highvalue sellers (e.g. distributors D2C brands) and driving significant growth.
  4. Experience in conducting joint business planning sessions and analyzing data for strategic decisionmaking.
  5. Familiarity with the operations of major events like Amazon Great Indian Festival and Prime Day ensuring successful execution.
Skills Required:
  1. Expertise in identifying growth opportunities and formulating strategies to drive business success.
  2. Strong analytical skills to interpret data and identify market trends for informed decisionmaking.
  3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective relationship building with sellers and stakeholders.
  4. Ability to understand and address seller needs delivering exceptional service to enhance partner satisfaction.
  5. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  6. Skilled in negotiation techniques to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes for the company and seller partners.
  7. Ability to work collaboratively with crossfunctional teams to achieve business objectives.
  8. Knowledge of market dynamics and competitive landscape to inform strategic decisions.
  9. Familiarity with eCommerce tools and platforms including Amazon Seller Central and CRM systems.
  10. Experience with CRM email marketing and project management tools like Hubspot Salesforce Asana etc.
