Job Description
Liquid lenses have been Optotunes core business since its inception in 2008. While they are used in many different applications the machine vision segment has become the largest and the growth has only just started! Partnerships with objective lens makers and camera companies result in more seamless enduser integration and multiply our market access. Your job is to understand market requirements & trends find new applications in the imaging space define the next generation of liquid lens products expand strategic partnerships and scale the business.
Tasks
- Strategic developmentof Optotunesmachine vision business
- Acquisition of new customers worldwide
- Development of strategic partnerships with key players of the ecosystem
- Market research & definition of new products
- Creation of sales & training materials business plans and gotomarket strategies
- Content creation for marketing materials
- Participation in trade shows
Requirements
- Must have technical background (MSc or equivalent)
- At least 3 years of experience in technical sales preferably in machine vision
- Experience in management consulting is advantageous
- Ability to identify new customers build up & maintain relationships
- Ability to understand customers technical requirements and suggest solutions
- Passion for technology & innovation winning personality well organized autonomous and prepared to travel internationally
- Excellent knowledge of English good knowledge of German other languages advantageous
- Good working knowledge in MS Office applications
