We are seeking a detailoriented and motivated Paraplanner to join our dynamic financial planning team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the financial advisors by preparing client review packs conducting cashflow modelling researching investment and pension options and drafting suitability reports. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with experience in financial planning or paraplanning looking to further develop their career in a collaborative clientfocused environment.
Preparation of Client Review Packs: Support in the creation of annual planning meeting materials ensuring that all client information is accurate and uptodate.
Cashflow Modelling: Utilize Voyant software to create and maintain cashflow models helping clients visualize their financial futures and make informed decisions.
Pension Switch Research: Conduct detailed research on pension products and options assisting with pension switch recommendations and strategy development.
Investment Research: Assist in gathering and analyzing information on investment opportunities including product selection performance metrics and suitability for clients.
Suitability Report Writing: Draft suitability reports based on the research and recommendations made by the financial advisors ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Collaboration with Financial Advisors: Work closely with financial advisors to ensure client needs are met provide timely updates and assist with strategy implementation.
Experience: At least 12 years of experience in a paraplanning or similar role within financial services. A strong understanding of financial planning concepts is essential.
Technical Skills:
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate complex financial concepts in reports.
Attention to Detail: Ability to work accurately and efficiently ensuring all data and reports are correct.
Organizational Skills: Excellent timemanagement and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
ProblemSolving: Ability to conduct research and contribute to finding optimal solutions for clients' financial needs.
