Job Title: Industry Research Analyst
Type of contract: Independent Contractor.
Working Hours: PST business hours
Role Overview: We are seeking a highly detailoriented and proactive Industry Research Analyst to support content creation and strategic decisionmaking. In this role you will be responsible for gathering and synthesizing complex data to generate actionable insights which will be used in developing content for online courses newsletters and strategic initiatives.
Key Responsibilities: Research & Analysis: - Conduct comprehensive research on industries companies and market trends across various sectors including consumer/internet products financial products media products and real estate.
- Analyze data to identify market opportunities emerging trends and key insights that can influence business decisions.
Content Development: - Synthesize research findings into clear and concise reports presentations and content for internal and external communication.
- Contribute to the creation of newsletters and online course materials by incorporating research insights.
Support Strategic Initiatives: - Work closely with the team to provide actionable insights that support marketing sales and strategic goals.
- Stay updated on industry developments and identify emerging trends that
- can shape future content and business strategies.
Qualifications: - Proven experience in market research particularly related to consumer products financial products media or real estate.
- Strong ability to synthesize complex data into digestible highvalue insights.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Proven experience in producing research reports and presentations.
- Familiarity with tools like Excel Google Workspace and other research tools is beneficial but not a primary focus.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with crossfunctional teams and support the content creation process.
Ideal Candidate: We are looking for someone who has experience in market research particularly with creating insights and reports for industries. You should be comfortable supporting and aggregating data for industry reports or creating such reports yourself.
