Job Description

Support Technicians handle many responsibilities in their daytoday jobs. They assist in resolving issues communicating with vendors and ensuring customers have a good experience. How You Spend Your Eight Hours

  • Provide exceptional customer experience by responding to calls emails and tickets in a timely manner
  • Effectively communicate and set realistic expectations with endusers on expected delivery times of services
  • Diagnose hardware and software issues on the phone or via other electronic methods
  • Configure systems for optimum operation create file backups and configure systems and applications
  • Consult with hardware and software vendors on troubleshooting and problem resolution
  • Analyze and address problems using documented procedures available tools and personal knowledge and skills
  • Adhere to established best practices policies and procedures in the execution of daytoday duties
  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with customers and other professionals
  • Work independently and cooperatively to resolve onsite customer requests efficiently and effectively

What You Must Possess

  • Preferred qualifications:
    • Experience working as a part of a technical support team
    • Experience working in both a help desk and deskside support role
    • Experience working using the Zoho ticketing system
    • Experience performing maintenance and support for software and hardware
    • Experience using and working with remote monitoring and management software solutions
    • Willingness to learn and troubleshoot Dish Network Smartbox Systems
    • Ability to process prioritize and follow through on ticket escalations
    • Ability to perform basic warranty services and work with vendors to facilitate RMAs for devices under warranty
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 Office and Zoho
    • Ability to troubleshoot basic network issues
    • Excellent customer service/interpersonal skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problemsolving skills
