Job Title: Registered Nurse ICU Pediatric (PICU) (Nights)

Confident Staff Solutions is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team in Des Moines IA. As a temporary employee you will have the opportunity to work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and provide critical care to our young patients. This position is for night shifts providing flexibility for those seeking a work schedule outside of traditional business hours.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct patient care in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) under the supervision of the unit manager

Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician

Monitor and assess patients conditions and report any changes to the physician

Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans

Educate patients and their families on their conditions and treatment plans

Maintain accurate and uptodate medical records

Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures as well as state and federal regulations

Communicate effectively with patients families and colleagues

Qualifications:

Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Iowa

Minimum of 2 years of experience working in a Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU)

BLS and ACLS certifications

Strong critical thinking and problemsolving skills

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Must be able to work night shifts and weekends
