Confident Staff Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Des Moines IA. As a Med Surg RN you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in a fastpaced and dynamic environment. Job Responsibilities: Assess and monitor patients condition and vital signs Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to create and implement individualized care plans Educate patients and their families about their conditions and treatment plans Maintain accurate and detailed patient records Respond to emergencies and provide immediate care as needed Monitor and ensure patient safety and comfort Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to provide the best possible patient care Adhere to all hospital policies procedures and regulations Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities Maintain a clean and organized work environment Communicate effectively with patients families and healthcare team members Qualifications: Active RN license in the state of Iowa Minimum of 2 years of experience in medsurg nursing BLS and ACLS certification Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medicalsurgical nursing practices Ability to work under pressure and in a fastpaced environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong critical thinking and problemsolving abilities Ability to work independently and in a team setting Flexibility to work night shifts as needed Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening We offer competitive pay and benefits as well as a supportive and collaborative work environment.
