Mobile Health Team Inc. a staffing agency has an opening for an RN Cardiac Telemetry & StepDown ICU. We are looking for someone with a passion for people.

Location: Rockford IL 61103

Assignment Start Date: 10/13/2024

8 weeks Nights 12hour shift 36 hours weekly guaranteed

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Utilizes the nursing process and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members in caring for patients.
• Administers prescribed medications and treatments by approved nursing techniques policies and procedures standards of care and State laws/practice acts.
• Documents according to standards of care.
• Develops initiates and executes a patient plan of care according to the individualized needs of the patient as prescribed by Physician and/or hospital policy including patient and family instruction.
• Participates in department or unit performance improvement activities which may include shared governance.
• Utilizes clinical expertise & guidance to other units/departments in support of the patients longitudinal plan of care.
• Utilizes critical thinking regarding patient safety and patient experience and appropriately escalates to the appropriate chain of command.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION/QUALIFICATION

Experience:

• At least two (2) years of RN experience is required.

Licenses Certifications and Registration:

• Must have a current IL RN License and BLS/BCLS certification. ACLS and NIHSS are required.

EMR System: EPIC experience preferred

Shift: Every other weekend & holiday and 12 hours shifts (Nights 7P7A)

COVID: Must be fully vaccinated for COVID19 and Flu.

Float Requirement: will float between Cardiac Telemetry and StepDown ICU and may require occasional floating to two of our Medical Surgical units.
