Northwest Talent Solutions is a leading Technology Finance and Healthcare staffing/recruiting and HR/DEI consulting firm partnering with outstanding clients within the private industry and public sector. Currently we are partnered with a preferred client in Georgetown Kentucky in search of a highly talented Emergency Department Manager (Nights).
Job Summary:
The Emergency Department Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of the Emergency Department during night shifts. This role involves developing and implementing departmental goals directing patient care delivery managing staff and ensuring compliance with organizational objectives and budget allocations.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement departmental goals plans and standards
- Direct and evaluate departmental operations including patient care delivery and service level determination
- Plan and monitor staffing activities including hiring orienting and evaluating staff
- Prepare monitor and evaluate departmental budgets
- Coordinate and direct internal/external audits
- Create an environment that encourages professional growth
- Integrate evidencebased practices into operations and clinical protocols
Qualifications:
I. Education:
- Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
- Masters Degree preferred
II. Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Emergency or Intensive Care fields
- Prior leadership experience required
III. License(s)/Certification(s):
- Current RN license in the state of Kentucky required
Knowledge Skills & Abilities:
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Indepth knowledge of emergency department operations and best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work nights and flexible schedules
- Proficiency in budgeting and resource allocation
