Become a member of the Revenue Accounting team at Palo Alto Networks! We are seeking a highly motivated Revenue Manager who is excited to join a high growth Company. The ideal candidate must possess strong analytical thinking and communication skills. The candidate will be selfmotivated with the ability to provide solutions for issues identified. The successful candidate is a competent individual with integrity accountability strong interpersonal skills and a team player. This person will directly report to the Senior revenue Manager and closely work and manage the other members of the Revenue team. The candidate will be responsible to perform revenue close accounting activities lead transitions and projects develop new processes and improve on the monthend close process. The position requires a handson person who is flexible solutionsoriented and works well under pressure in a fastpaced environment.
Your Impact
- Manage the revenue close and reporting processes including the review of JEs reconciliations and other various reporting deliverables
- Drive operational excellence by identifying proposing and leading process improvements to successful completion
- Ensure compliance with SOX 404 key controls
- Assist with external audits and special projects as needed
- Develop strong crossfunctional relationships with key business partners including AR Technical Revenue Finance IT Operations etc.
Qualifications :
Your Experience
- Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance CA/CPA preferred or equivalent qualification or equivalent military experience required
- 7 years of progressively responsible experience at either a Big 4 public accounting firm or a global publicly traded organization in a revenue role
- Excellent technical and operational knowledge of ASC 606
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills ability to manage priorities and adhere to deadlines in a fastpaced environment without losing sight of accuracy
- Comprehensive understanding of quote to cash process
- Strong selfstarter who operates with proactively high attention to details and strong communication skills both written and verbal
- Ability to diplomatically challenge the status quo
- Experience with financial systems SAP ERP ECC & RAR BigQuery Blackline Tableau and SFDC a plus
- Project management experience a plus
- Experience with high technology company in the Hardware Software and/or SaaS space a plus
