The Market Manager for Government will be responsible for driving product marketing business development and promotional efforts aimed at expanding business within government sectors at the local state and federal levels. This position is vital for identifying new opportunities and growing market presence through strategic
initiatives and partnerships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to grow business opportunities within government sectors and explore new markets for existing product lines.
- Collaborate with product managers engineering production and quality teams to align market strategies with overall business objectives.
- Identify and optimize government distribution channels streamlining the purchasing process and maximizing sales opportunities.
- Provide input into product development and lifecycle management based on government market needs.
- Coordinate promotional activities such as advertising campaigns product announcements website content updates and public relations efforts.
- Respond to productrelated inquiries offering necessary specifications drawings and cost estimates to government entities.
- Support Regional Managers by providing product samples technical doents and responding to productspecific requests.
- Oversee government contract administration ensuring compliance with purchasing requirements and regulations.
- Deliver product training to internal teams and external partners when necessary.
- Lead trade show participation including preparation setup and representation at events.
- Travel as needed to attend trade shows and meet with customers.
- Provide regular reports on market trends sales forecasts and marketing strategies to senior management.
- Develop and execute an annual market and business plan aimed at increasing market share in the government sector.
