About the Role:

Were on the hunt for a dedicated Tax Manager to join our clients team. This hybrid role offers a flexible work arrangement with three days in the office and two days remote. The ideal candidate will support partners manage client relationships and oversee the preparation and review of tax returns. If you have 7 years of tax experience in public accounting and a CPA certification we want to meet you!

Your Mission:

• Support partners and serve as the engagement manager on client accounts.
• Manage client relationships to ensure satisfaction and loyalty.
• Review tax returns for accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct research on tax issues and draft memorandums.
• Identify opportunities to expand engagements and participate in business proposal development.
• Promptly bill and collect for services provided.
• Hold team members accountable to the firms mission vision and core values.
• Develop team members technical and professional skills and provide performance feedback.
• Delegate assignments to focus on managementlevel responsibilities.
• Maintain confidentiality of client and team discussions.

Core Competencies:

• Tax Management & Compliance: Proven experience in preparing and reviewing tax returns conducting research and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
• Client Relationship Management: Ability to maintain strong client relationships ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
• Leadership & Team Development: Ability to lead a team develop their skills and ensure adherence to firm values.
• ProblemSolving & Initiative: A proactive approach to addressing challenges and implementing solutions.

What You Bring:

• BS/BA in accounting preferred; CPA certification required; advanced degree preferred.
• 7 years of tax experience in public accounting.
• Demonstrated leadership and management skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency with MS Office tax compliance and research software QuickBooks and trial balance systems.
