We are seeking a talented and experienced Head Chef for a Sushi Restaurant in Jeddah Saudi Arabia to lead our clients kitchen team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for culinary excellence particularly in sushi preparation and will possess strong leadership skills to maintain high standards of food quality and kitchen operations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service
- Oversee the preparation and presentation of highquality sushi and other dishes maintaining consistency and creativity
- Maintain a clean safe and organized kitchen following health and safety regulations
- Monitor inventory levels order supplies and control food costs
- Train mentor and develop kitchen staff to improve skills and performance
- Collaborate with management to create and update the menu incorporating seasonal ingredients and innovative ideas
- Ensure that all dishes are prepared and served on time maintaining high standards of taste and presentation
- Manage kitchen operations during busy service times ensuring a smooth workflow and excellent customer satisfaction
- Handle staff schedules performance reviews and team dynamics
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years of professional culinary experience specializing in sushi preparation
- Proven experience in a leadership role within a kitchen environment
- Proficiency in English
- Ability to work under pressure in a fastpaced environment
- Excellent communication organizational and problemsolving skills
