Position Summary:
The HSSE Section Head (E2) is a key position within Hill International responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and healthy environment for all employees subcontractors and visitors. The HSSE Section Head (E2) will be responsible for developing implementing and managing the Health Safety Security and Environmental (HSSE) programs policies and procedures in accordance with local state and federal regulations. The HSSE Section Head (E2) will also be responsible for monitoring and evaluating HSSE performance conducting risk assessments and providing safety training and education.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop implement and manage HSSE programs policies and procedures in accordance with local state and federal regulations.
Monitor and evaluate HSSE performance conducting risk assessments and providing safety training and education.
Develop and maintain a safe and healthy work environment for all employees subcontractors and visitors.
Investigate accidents and incidents and develop corrective action plans.
Develop and coordinate emergency response plans.
Develop and maintain a safety and health compliance system.
Develop and maintain a safety and health awareness program.
Develop and maintain safety and health records.
Provide safety and health advice and technical assistance to all levels of the organization.
Monitor and evaluate safety and health performance.
Maintain and update safety and health regulations.
Maintain and update safety and health documents.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in safety engineering occupational safety industrial hygiene or related field.
15 years of experience in safety engineering occupational safety industrial hygiene or related field.
Knowledge of applicable safety and health regulations and standards.
Knowledge of safety and health management systems.
Excellent communication organizational and problemsolving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
Ability to effectively manage multiple projects.
Ability to work with all levels of the organization.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
