Senior Project Manager Major Aviation Projects

Some of the key specifications in our Project Management team include:

• Effectively and efficiently leading capital projects.
• Employing proven project management skills to plan monitor and document tasks throughout a project.
• Able to take responsibility for key functional aspects within the project including: scope risk cost schedule and quality.
• Putting safety at the heart of project delivery. Safety in comes first always. 
• Daytoday management of projects through the complete life cycle including successfully implementing from initiation through deployment and handover into operations.
• Working within multidisciplinary teams of professionals to deliver targeted project outcomes while fostering a collaborative and communicative project culture.
• Managing different forms of contract ensuring compliance with contract terms processing of payments and managing change.  
• Employ a sound understanding of procurement in projects tendering preparation and management bid assessment and contract award for contractors and/or professional services.
• Preparing reports and communicating of project progress to a range of stakeholders including schedule/milestones deliverables dependencies risks and issues and promoting appropriate actions to improve project outcomes.

Qualifications :

• Minimum of 8 years working in a Project Management role
• Bachelors Degree in appropriate field of study or equivalent work experience
• Recognised Project Management Qualification is essential (e.g. AAPM APM PMI PRINCE2 MSP) or equivalent
• Experience working in the infrastructure and/or construction sector
• Experience in Aviation is highly desirable 
• Proven experience in onsite contractor management
• Experience operating at various stages in the project lifecycle
• Sound understanding of engineering and design in delivery as well as a solid understanding of safety practices in project delivery
• Contract administration and management
• Strong stakeholder management skills
• Selfmotivated team player with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
