Job Title: Hairstylist

As a Hairstylist you play an essential role in helping clients feel their best by providing a range of hair care services. Key Responsibilities
- Consult with clients to understand their hair care needs and style preferences.
- Perform hair cutting coloring and styling services based on client requests.
- Stay abreast of the latest hair trends and techniques to offer innovative services.
- Recommend hair care products and services to enhance the client experience.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace ensuring hygiene standards are met.
- Provide excellent customer service to ensure client satisfaction.
- Handle client appointments and manage scheduling effectively.
- Assist in training junior staff or apprentices when necessary.
- Promote salon services and special offers to increase client engagement.
- Participate in continuing education and training to refine skills.
- Maintain stock levels of products and assist in inventory management.
- Build strong trusting relationships with clients to create a loyal customer base.
- Manage any questions or concerns from clients regarding services.
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Collaborate with fellow stylists to create a positive team environment.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Cosmetology license as per local regulations.
- Proven experience as a hairstylist or in a similar role.
- Indepth knowledge of hair care techniques products and tools.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Customer serviceoriented mindset.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods during work hours.
- Strong time management skills.
- Willingness to participate in ongoing training and certifications.
- Ability to take feedback and adapt to improve service.
- Knowledge of sanitation and hygiene practices specific to the salon industry.
- Experience with hair extensions and special techniques is a plus.
