Overview
Key Responsibilities
- Create and maintain relationships with clients to ensure repeat visits and build a loyal customer base.
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable hairstyles colors and treatments.
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting styling coloring and treatments.
- Stay uptodate with the latest trends techniques and product knowledge in the hair care industry.
- Train and mentor junior stylists and assist in their professional development.
- Manage and maintain a clean organized and wellequipped work station.
- Handle client inquiries appointments and payments with professionalism and efficiency.
- Contribute to promotional activities and marketing strategies to attract new clients.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain a clean and hygienic salon environment.
- Collaborate with the salon team to ensure a seamless and positive client experience.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio of successful work.
- Completion of a hairstyling or cosmetology program from an accredited institution.
- Proficiency in a wide range of hair techniques including cutting coloring and styling.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively consult with and understand clients needs.
- Strong knowledge of hair care products equipment and industry trends.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining a high level of customer service.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and creativity in designing unique and tailored hairstyles.
- Compliance with state and local licensing requirements for hairstylists.
- Flexibility to work on weekends evenings and holidays as needed.
