Job Description
Overview
The Senior Hairstylist plays a vital role in our salon responsible for providing exceptional hairstyling services and ensuring client satisfaction. They are expected to demonstrate creativity professionalism and exceptional customer service skills to maintain a loyal client base and contribute to the salons success.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and execute a variety of hair services including cutting coloring and styling
- Consult with clients to understand their preferences and provide expert advice on suitable hairstyles
- Stay updated on current hair trends and techniques
- Maintain a clean and organized work station
- Handle hair product recommendations and sales
- Manage appointment bookings and maintain accurate client records
- Assist junior hairstylists with training and skill development
- Collaborate with salon team members to ensure a seamless client experience
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any servicerelated issues
- Participate in promotional activities to attract new clients
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a hairstylist with a strong portfolio of previous work
- Completion of a hairstyling program or relevant certification
- Proficiency in a variety of hair techniques including cutting coloring and styling
- Exceptional knowledge of hair products and their properties
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong customer service and sales skills
- Uptodate with industry trends and best practices
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
- Team player with a positive and professional attitude
