- Responsible for the overall maintenance of the hotels facilities and equipment.
- Ensure that the maintenance budget and stock levels are controlled ensuring that all expenses are kept in line with budget guidelines.
- Be fully aware and competent in all health and safety procedures policies and assist with preparing all risk assessments
- Manage the onsite activity of all contractors
- Maintain records of all machinery and equipment including manufacturers details specifications and manuals.
- Ensure that all fire safety equipment is maintained and tested in a timely manner.
- Arrange and coordinate quotations from suppliers in relation to maintenance work.
- Lead and manage a team of highenergy people who love our guests by setting and monitoring goals empowering and developing them and creating an environment where people can be themselves.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve and enhance processes and procedures.
- Be a member of the hotel crisis and fire teams and to be fully conversant in all related procedures.
- Proactively project manage any changes in policies and procedures.
- Achieve and maintain the highest possible levels of customer service to both external and internal customers forging longterm relationships with suppliers and contractors.
- Cover shift engineer shifts as required.
- Lead a team of two technical assistants
Qualifications :
Secondary or university degree in engineering preferably mechanical electrical or facility engineering
Excellent knowledge of Czech safety and compliance regulations
Previous experience in a hotel would be considered as a plus
