Job Description
This is a remote position.
Job Title: Experienced Bookkeeper and SMSF (selfmanaged super funds) Specialist
Rate: 89AUD/hour
Hours: Full time; 40 per week
We are looking for a Bookkeeper and SMSF Specialist with a strong understanding of Australian compliance particularly with selfmanaged super funds (SMSFs). The ideal candidate will have substantial experience using BGL and MYOB for processing SMSFs business tax returns and general bookkeeping tasks. This role requires someone who is detailoriented dependable and committed to high standards who will work directly with clients to ensure accurate and efficient financial processes.
Key Responsibilities:

Process and manage SMSFs using BGL ensuring all data is accurately handled and compliant with Australian SMSF regulations.

Complete bookkeeping tasks for multiple clients including transaction recording in MYOB and Xero.

Prepare and review tax returns financial statements and quarterly reports for various business
.
entities including companies and trusts.
.
Ensure compliance with Australian tax law and companyspecific privacy protocols.
.
Collaborate with clients to streamline financial processes and provide support for their specific needs.
.
Maintain client confidentiality and secure all client data according to Australian privacy standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
.
2 years of experience in bookkeeping particularly with SMSF compliance and BGL software.
.
Strong knowledge of Australian accounting principles and tax laws.
.
Proficiency in bookkeeping software (BGL MYOB Xero).
.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to highquality work.
.
Ability to work independently while collaborating remotely with Australian clients.
.
Strong English communication skills to ensure clear client communication.
