Job Description
The website and application developer role will assist the company on building websites content designs integrating and supporting internal and cloudbased applications.
Main Responsibility: Building and supporting company website and web pages in Wordpress CMS creating designs discovering and maintaining integrations between websites and cloudbased applications such as Zoho and Google creating and supporting applications in Zoho Creator. Provide assistance to key stakeholders such as the Marketing and IT department.
Main Responsibilities:
- Act as a subject matter expert on website development and web designs.
- Placement of content and images within a WordPress page.
- Implementation of site architecture/updating of site menus.
- Assist with adding onsite SEO elements.
- Evaluating code to ensure it meets industry standards is valid is properly structured and is compatible with browsers devices or operating systems.
- Performing Website updates maintenance and changes.
- Monitoring the performance of live websites.
- Collaborate with internal marketing teams and management to discuss projects and client goals.
- Support and resolve issues in the company s website products and infrastructure.
- Execute discovery testing implementation of projects focusing on web development.
- Facilitate project user acceptance test with the infrastructure and application developers
- Provide regular feedback to IT leadership team on project progress.
- Initiate and participate in regular project meetings.
- Troubleshoot issues related to websites and related applications.
- Integrate applications using google workspace and Zoho Creator.
- Deploy and manage API interactions.
- Initiate process review and process improvement tasks within the departments.
- Facilitate training on technical support and userend perspective.
- Document all necessary response procedures and change logs.
- Development of application in Google Workspace and Zoho Creator.
- Maintain and provide support with business systems within Zoho and Google applications.
- Assist infrastructure engineers and application developers with support maintenance and project execution related to website solutions and business systems
- Provide regular reports about website health and traffic to IT and Marketing team.
- Any tasks deemed necessary by IT and Marketing leads related to websites and applications supporting the business.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience; Strong knowledge of tools and technologies such as HTML CSS PHP Javascript REST API JSON Python etc.
- 3 to 5 years of development experience in CMSs and Frameworks.
- Proven track record of leading projects from concept to completion applying current project and web development and design best practices with the ability to prioritize and creatively problemsolve independently.
- Proven ability to deploy websites in a short time frame (2 to 3week cycles) is a strong plus.
- Ability to develop under constraints and stay current with changing technology.
- Has adequate communication and clientfacing experience.
- Strong familiarity with platforms such as WordPress Joomla Magento Drupal Shopify etc.
- Strong familiarity with current WordPress plugins themes and integratable API s.
- Working knowledge of the eCommerce / online retail space CRM integrations (Salesforce Eloqua HubSpot Marketo Working knowledge of Digital marketing technology is a strong plus.
- Must be able to work under pressure and ability to manage multiple tasks/projects/initiatives.
- Must have: Experience/Skills with Wordpress Java API integration and SQL.
- Plus: Zoho Creator/Deluge experience AWS Lightsail experience domain management
