Oracle Service Functional Analyst
Pune MH
The Oracle Service Functional Analyst provides enduser support related to Oracle Ebs Service applications. He/She supports Service processes during implementations projects as well as business as usual activities. He/She analyzes business requirements and system enhancements prepares functional and technical specifications solves issues and identifies their root causes to prevent them in future.
Key Duties
- support Service applications enduser
- analyze and solve problems related to Oracle Ebs Service applications
- lead or participate in root cause analysis / corrective action for critical issues and incidents
- lead the development and the deployment of Oracle Ebs Service applications particularly in the designing building testing implementation and stabilization.
- develop test plans to ensure proper system functionality and defects free release and meet business requirements. Maintain systems to ensure reliability and performance.
- deploy system enhancements service requests (change requests) ensuring solution is scalable and meets overall business requirements and identify/document functional gaps maintaining documentation for changes made to system
- monitor support and enhance software integrations in Service area
- collaborate with the Project Management Office to estimate the delivery timelines estimate resourcing needs and identify risks & issues upfront
- cooperate with colleagues on other team in order to design harmonized solutions
- conduct ongoing quality reviews and analysis of data in Service area; identifies data quality issues and escalates for corrective actions
- work effectively with remote team members outsourced resources and users to complete tasks.
School Background / Working Seniority
- 25 years of experience developing with Oracle Ebs Release 12.2
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- International experience
- Experience in an international System Integrator company is a plus
Basic Skills
- Strong English language skills
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Analytical and Problemsolving skills are required
Technical / Functional skills
- Deep experience with Oracle Ebs Release 12.2 specifically in:
- Oracle Service
- Oracle Service Contracts
- Oracle Mobile Field Service
- Experience with Oracle Order Management is a plus
- Experience with Oracle Inventory
- Experience with PL/SQL
- Experience creating Functional Requirement Documentation and Test Script
- Excellent Communication and Teamwork skills
- Process Discipline and Documentation skills essential
- Ready to move beyond own area of comfort
- Ability to be adaptable and flexible while responding to deadlines on assignments and workflow fluctuations
