Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Finance Functional Consultant with 79 years of expertise in Oracle EBS R12 particularly in GL (General Ledger) AP (Accounts Payable) AR (Accounts Receivable) CM (Cash Management) FA (Fixed Assets) and VAT. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in EBS R12 implementation customization and enhancement and will play a key role in delivering finance solutions to meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the Functional Consultant for Oracle EBS R12 Financial modules including GL AP AR CM FA and VAT.
- Lead the implementation of Oracle Financials performing configurations to meet specific business and statutory requirements.
- Work closely with finance stakeholders to gather requirements perform gap analysis and design Oracle EBS solutions that align with business needs.
- Configure and customize the VAT module ensuring proper tax setups and compliance with local tax regulations.
- Conduct endtoend Oracle EBS R12 implementation from design through to postgolive support.
- Identify and drive customization and enhancements within the Oracle Financials modules to improve operational efficiency.
- Provide functional expertise in system upgrades enhancements patching and performance tuning of Oracle Financials.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation including functional specifications setup documents and user training materials.
- Collaborate with technical teams to design custom reports interfaces and workflows that support finance processes.
- Support enduser training and assist in knowledge transfer for Oracle Financials users.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Oracle Financial modules providing support to ensure smooth system operation.
Required Skills:
- 79 years of functional experience with Oracle EBusiness Suite (EBS R12) specifically with GL AP AR CM FA and VAT.
- Strong knowledge of the VAT module including configuration tax rules and local regulatory compliance.
- Handson experience with Oracle EBS R12 implementation projects from requirements gathering to golive.
- Expertise in customizing and enhancing Oracle Financials to meet specific business needs.
- Excellent understanding of financial processes including financial accounting tax management cash management and asset management.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to address functional and technical issues in Oracle Financials.
- Familiarity with AIM/OUM Methodologies for Oracle project lifecycle management.
- Experience in creating functional documentation such as BR100 MD050 and user training guides.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Oracle Financials R12 reporting tools such as Oracle Reports BI Publisher and FSG.
- Exposure to Oracle Workflow for financerelated processes.
- Understanding of integration between Oracle Financials and other Oracle EBS modules (e.g. SCM HRMS).
- Knowledge of Oracle Cloud Financials or plans to transition to Oracle Cloud would be advantageous.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor s degree in finance Accounting Business Administration or a related field.
