Job Title: Reporting & Metrics Engineer Financial Services

We are a toptier consultancy working with major financial institutions to provide cuttingedge insights through datadriven reports and metrics. We are seeking a Reporting & Metrics Engineer to support a financial institution in designing and maintaining technologyfocused reports that provide visibility into IT performance security and compliance. This remote position is initially for 6 months with the potential for extension or fulltime hire.

Job Summary:
The Reporting & Metrics Engineer will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining reporting solutions that provide clear insights into the performance security and compliance of IT systems within a financial institution. The role requires expertise in data analysis reporting and visualization tools to transform complex data into actionable insights that inform business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop comprehensive reports and interactive dashboards to monitor key IT metrics including system performance security and compliance.
• Collaborate with IT teams to understand reporting requirements ensuring accuracy consistency and relevance of data.
• Use advanced data visualization tools (e.g. Power BI Tableau) to present complex data in an accessible and actionable format.
• Continuously improve and streamline the reporting process through automation of data collection report generation and distribution.
• Analyze data trends and provide meaningful insights and recommendations to support informed decisionmaking.
• Ensure all reports adhere to organizational policies data governance standards and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Provide training and ongoing support to IT teams on the use of reporting tools dashboards and the interpretation of metrics.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in data analysis report development and visualization with a proven track record of delivering actionable insights.
• Proficiency with reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI Tableau and SQL.
• Excellent analytical communication and problemsolving skills.
• Understanding of IT systems performance metrics and security compliance within a financial services environment.
• Bachelors degree in Data Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Experience working with financial institutions or in a consultancy supporting the financial services industry is highly desirable.
