Job Title: Process & Control Engineer Financial Services

We are a leading consultancy firm specializing in delivering tailored solutions to financial institutions. We are currently seeking a Process & Control Engineer to support a large financial institution in designing implementing and optimizing technology processes and controls. This remote position is initially for 6 months with the potential for extension or fulltime hire.
Job Summary:
As a Process & Control Engineer you will be responsible for developing refining and monitoring technology processes and controls to ensure the security reliability and efficiency of IT systems within a financial institution. You will work closely with various IT teams to identify areas for process improvement and ensure alignment with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design implement and optimize technology processes and controls to enhance system performance security and efficiency.
- Collaborate with IT teams to identify process inefficiencies and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Develop and maintain detailed process documentation including flowcharts procedures and control frameworks.
- Conduct regular assessments and reviews of existing technology processes and controls ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
- Ensure alignment with industry standards such as ISO/IEC 27001 and ITIL and help maintain regulatory compliance.
- Provide training guidance and support to IT staff on process and control best practices.
- Monitor and analyze process performance leveraging datadriven insights to recommend continuous improvements.
- Stay informed about emerging trends and best practices in IT process management and control frameworks within the financial services sector.
Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge of IT process design control frameworks and industry standards (e.g. ITIL ISO/IEC 27001).
- Proven experience in process improvement IT service management and risk management particularly within financial services.
- Strong analytical problemsolving and communication skills.
- Familiarity with process modeling tools and techniques.
- Bachelors degree in Information Technology Engineering or a related field; advanced certifications in ITIL ISO/IEC 27001 or similar are preferred.
- Experience in a financial institution or consultancy supporting financial services is highly desirable.
