Position : Application Packaging engineer/ Endpoint Engineer
Location : Chicago IL (Hybrid)
Duration : 6 Months with EXT
This team is solely focused on end user hardware NOT software for the hardware.
Notes:
- This is a true level 4 role not looking for technician/ field tech background
- They do not work with specific users rather IT folks that work with them
- 20% travel with vendor visits or conferences
- Would be responsible for analyzing if a device would fit within their environment
- Tech Stack: MDM/ Workspace ONE Azure
seeing candidates heavy on the SCCM (task scripting / OS deployment) side. HMs looking for folks that are a little bit more jack of all trades.

Please ensure candidates have SCCM AirWatch or Microsoft Intune experience
- 1. Experience with Hardware testing and deployment
- 2. History of being a part of the decisionmaking process on selecting equipment standards
- 3. Powershell scripting or other experience in developing software packages / updates and/or pushing out applications using a device management system.
Core Responsibilities
- Capturing business and technical requirements for hardware solutions when engaged to support specific projects or new adoptions. (Laptops / Desktops / Displays / Mobile Devices / Printers / Scanners / ####ment Devices/ MTR Kits / Conference Room Camera / Audio Equipment / Misc. Peripherals etc.).
- Make decisions around hardware configurations and systems specifications.
- Coordinating and leading in the design testing evaluation implementation and support of solutions on an enterprisewide scale (hardware software systems tools and IT processes).
- Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware deployments (Bios/firmware/drivers).
- Design and document enterprise standards and procedures.
- Ensure proposed solutions and platforms/systems conform to established enterprise/industry standards (systems management security operating systems etc.).
- Maintain lifecycle of hardware across the enterprise with over 100k devices.
Qualifications:
Minimum Requirements:
- 2 years of dynamically responsible work experience in Endpoint Engineering.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer without sponsorship
- Reliable punctual attendance is a crucial function of the position
