Project Engineer for Post-Tensioning and Repair and Strengthening Unit

Salary: $ 80000.00

We have partnered with a large Construction company in the Bolingbrook IL area to provide them with an Project Engineer. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Project Engineer:

#1. PE license in any state. If does not have should get in a year.

#2. Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with Structural Engineering concentration required.

#3. Masters degree preferred with minimum 35 years of Engineering within the Construction Industry.

#4. Knowledge of civil and structural engineering principals.

#5. Knowledge of codes such as ACI PTI PCI AASHTO AISC etc. required.

#6. Experience in posttensioning and use of structural analysis and CAD software.

Requirements of the Project Engineer:

• A Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Structural Engineering is essential.
• A Masters degree is a plus with 35 years of relevant engineering experience in the construction field.
• Familiarity with civil and structural engineering principles.
• Knowledge of industry standards and codes such as ACI PTI PCI AASHTO AISC etc. is necessary.
• Experience in posttensioning techniques as well as proficiency in structural analysis and CAD tools.
• The candidate should be selfdriven organized and professional with strong analytical skills and the ability to understand client needs market trends and challenges.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and AutoCAD or equivalent software.
• A PE license from any state is required or must be obtained within one year if not already held.

Other Key Requirements:

• Work onsite.
