Job Summary:

The company a world leader in precision aerospace manufacturing is seeking a skilled and motivated Hose Assembly Operator to join our team in Gardena CA. The Hose Assembly Operator will be responsible for assembling testing and inspecting hoses and hose components according to detailed specifications. This role requires excellent attention to detail strong mechanical skills and a commitment to quality in a fastpaced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assemble hoses and hose components by following detailed work instructions blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Measure cut and crimp hoses using specialized equipment to ensure precision and adherence to specifications.
• Conduct pressure testing on assembled hoses to verify quality and functionality.
• Inspect finished hose assemblies for defects ensuring they meet industry standards and company quality requirements.
• Record production data and test results documenting any nonconformance issues or defects.
• Maintain and operate hose assembly machinery performing routine maintenance as required.
• Ensure the work area is clean organized and safe at all times following all company safety protocols and wearing personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to troubleshoot issues and make adjustments to meet production goals.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of hoses and related components reporting any shortages or material defects.
• Follow strict industry and company guidelines including those related to aerospace specifications and regulations.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with precision tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints technical documents and work instructions.
• Experience in hose assembly or a similar role in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous experience with aerospace components or working in a precision manufacturing environment.
• Experience using hose assembly equipment such as crimpers pressure testers and cutting machines.
• Forklift certification or experience with material handling equipment.

Work Environment:

• Fulltime position in a manufacturing setting.
• Exposure to loud machinery and potentially hazardous materials.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and required at all times.
