About Yusudi
We are a sales talent marketplace on a mission to find and grow in their sales careers. We do this through matching them to available jobs in commercial organizations and we also improve their skills to enable them to excel. We have three business lines:
- We run a sales academy with the goal of helping graduates improve their sales skills and after that matching them to sales opportunities in partner companies.
- We have a sales development service that works with organizations to help the sales teams improve their selling and sales leadership skills.
- We offer recruitment services to help commercial teams find and hire exceptional talent.
Overarching all the services is the Africa Sales Community where we bring salespeople together offering them a platform to network and share experiences.
Yusudi was launched in 2016 and to date we have worked with 500 companies and engaged with thousands of professionals looking to build their sales careers. We are excited about sales and have a profound belief that selling should be an exciting positive and ful lling experience for both parties.
We are growing quickly and we re now looking for exceptional Business Development Executives to be part of our business development team.
Job Purpose
As a Business Development Executive you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and ensuring customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for identifying developing and nurturing relationships with potential clients across our three business lines while also managing existing customer relationships and fostering repeat business

Business Development:
- Prospect for new clients and build a robust pipeline of opportunities.
- Qualify leads and understand their specific needs and pain points.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals.
- Negotiate contracts and close deals to achieve revenue targets.
- Maintain strong relationships with clients and partners.
Customer Success:
- Manage existing customer relationships and ensure their ongoing satisfaction.
- Conduct regular customer checkins to gather feedback and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Proactively address customer concerns and resolve issues promptly.
- Upsell and crosssell additional services to increase customer value.
- Stimulate demand for repeat business and referrals.

Business Development:
- Revenue generation: Achievement of monthly quarterly and annual sales quotas.
- Pipeline development: Consistent growth and management of a healthy sales pipeline.
- Customer acquisition: Successful acquisition of new clients within the target market.
Customer Success:
- Customer retention: High customer retention rates and low churn.
- Upselling and crossselling: Successful upselling and crossselling of additional services.
- Repeat business: High percentage of repeat customers.
- Customer referrals: Generation of referrals from satisfied customers.

- Overall sales performance & client satisfaction

Skills competencies and previous relevant experience

- You have at least 3 years of B2B sales experience it will be a plus if you have sold talent or student services during that time.
- You have worked with a CRM(s) before and believe in its power to organize the selling process.
- You should ideally have hit at least 50% of your sales quota consistently over the last 3 years. Stuff happens and so if you have not you should be able to demonstrate what you can do differently given another chance.
- Ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues
- You have superb verbal and written communication skills with the ability to write proper business emails communicate over the phone and use your skills to help clients make the best decisions in relation to their sales talent needs.
- You are hyperorganized and fanatical about putting in place weekly systems/rituals to manage the sales process.
- Passion for sales and a desire to help others succeed in their careers
