Job Title: Product Manager for Healthcare Facility Business
Reports to: Head Healthcare Business
Based in: Nairobi Kenya
Department: Hospital Operations.
As a Product Manager for Healthcare Facility Business you will be the driving force behind the development and management of innovative solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of healthcare facilities. You will work closely with stakeholders from various departments including clinical operational and IT teams to deliver solutions that optimize the business operations of healthcare facilities. Your role will involve strategizing defining and executing the product roadmap while ensuring the product meets the needs of healthcare administrators and operational teams.
- Identify and Define Product Requirements: Gather feedback from healthcare administrators clinicians and operational teams to identify pain points and prioritize product features for healthcare facility solutions.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with development operations clinical and IT teams to bring product enhancements and new features to life ensuring alignment with the overall product vision and healthcare operational goals.
- Manage the Product Backlog: Oversee the product backlog ensuring that product development is aligned with business priorities and facilitate the delivery of features on time while considering business impact and technical feasibility.
- Market Research & Trend Analysis: Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends healthcare technology and facility management innovations to make informed product decisions.
- Stakeholder Communication: Regularly communicate product updates roadmaps and progress to stakeholders ensuring clear understanding of goals timelines and milestones.
- Ownership of Product Roadmap: Own the product roadmap and ensure its alignment with the companys strategic goals and the everchanging needs of healthcare facilities and operations.
- Data Integration & Compliance: Oversee the migration and integration of data from legacy systems into new solutions ensuring data accuracy compliance with regulations and improved operational efficiency.
- User Adoption & Training: Provide support and training to internal teams and healthcare facility staff ensuring seamless product adoption and maximizing operational efficiency.
- Monitor Product Performance: Continuously assess product performance gather feedback and identify opportunities for enhancements to improve operational outcomes in healthcare facilities.
- Innovation Strategy: Champion the innovation strategy for healthcare facility products identifying opportunities to maintain competitive advantage in the healthcare marketplace.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in healthcare management Business Administration Information Technology or a related field.
- 3 years of experience in product management preferably in healthcare or facility management technology with a proven track record of delivering solutions that enhance business operations.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Strong understanding of healthcare operations clinical workflows and how to translate operational challenges into effective product solutions.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas clearly to both technical and nontechnical audiences.
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams including developers clinicians administrators and IT staff to deliver results.
- Experience with data analysis and user research with the ability to interpret feedback and apply insights to product development.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and operational processes is highly desirable.
- Experience with healthcare facility management solutions is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail integrity and analytical skills.
- Up to date with market trends and proactive in identifying potential risks.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present data and information clearly.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.
