Client Information:
Our client is seeking for a highly motivated Accounting Manager for their new set up affiliated company in property management business which includes department stores and office rentals.
As the first key hire in the accounting department you will play a pivotal role in establishing our accounting operations and ensuring the companys financial health.
Job Description:
- Set up and manage the accounting team with future plans to oversee 12 subordinates.
- Oversee the monthend and yearend closing processes ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Prepare accurate financial reports budgets and forecasts to guide management decisions.
- Perform collection strategies for tenant billing ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Evaluate select and implement an ERP or accounting system suitable for our business size and transaction volume.
- Review and analyze tenant contracts ensuring compliance with financial terms and obligations.
- Ensure compliance with corporate accounting policies IFRS standards and local regulations.
- Provide strategic financial advice to senior management contributing to business growth and operational efficiency.
- Liaise with external auditors tax authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance and efficient operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Accounting
- 510 years of experience in accounting preferably within the property management or real estate sector.
- Holding a CPD license.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and accounting software selection.
- Excellent command of English both written and spoken.
- Proven experience in reviewing contracts and ensuring compliance with financial obligations.
- Willingness to work in a startup environment with a focus on building and leading a new accounting team.
