Senior Cloud Data Engineer

We are seeking a Data Engineer responsible for developing data tools to address customer requirements providing solutions estimations and implementing tools as well as integrating them. Key duties and responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

• Collaborating with clients and the development team to comprehend business needs gathering requirements and devising data solutions for medium to large applications and integrations.
• Designing and managing databases.
• Gaining insights into the internal and external business environment to make informed decisions based on real data.
• Maintaining a robust sales pipeline and possessing the technical acumen to explain cloud computing and technology concepts (without implementation).
• Understanding the organizational structure and decisionmaking hierarchy of assigned accounts.
• Making executive pitches and presentations.
• Working closely with the presale and technical teams to analyze and clarify customers business objectives and requirements in detail selecting and advising on suitable solution offerings.

Job Requirements:Qualifications/Memberships:

• Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline.Experiences:
• 3 years of experience required for consideration as a Data Engineer.
• Strong understanding of dimensional and normalized database models.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL for implementing and improving ETL processes.
• Experience or a strong understanding of data modeling.
• Experience with building and orchestrating data pipelines.
• Experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS or GCP is highly advantageous.
• Experience or a background in the ICT industry is highly advantageous.Personal Requirements:

• Ability to evaluate and provide solutions for business cases/issues.
• Strong presentation organization multitasking and time management skills.
