Lead Software Test Engineer

KTI Talent Indicator is a talent discovery software platform with AI that offers: talent mapping assessment and reskilling services with training to companies. We are looking for a Lead Software Test Engineer for an important client in the engineering sector.

Location:Ho Chi Minh Vietnam

Functions

1. Lead development of test strategies and plans with stakeholders.
2. Define test objectives criteria and priorities.
3. Align test efforts with project timelines.
4. Conduct manual and automated testing for functionality performance and security.
5. Lead regression exploratory and user acceptance testing.
6. Review and approve test cases and scripts.
7. Develop and maintain automated test scripts.
8. Promote test automation best practices.
9. Improve test automation infrastructure.
10. Maintain defecttracking system.
11. Document prioritize and resolve defects promptly.
12. Communicate defect status to stakeholders.
13. Collaborate with developers product managers and stakeholders.
14. Report testing status results and recommendations.
15. Create and update test plans cases and reports.
16. Ensure documentation is current and accessible.

Requirements

1. Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or a related field.
2. Proven experience as a Lead Software Test Engineer with a focus on automation and leadership (34 years minimum).
3. Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies tools and best practices.
4. Proficiency in programming/scripting languages (e.g. TypeScript Svelte Golang).
5. Extensive experience with test automation tools and frameworks (e.g. Playwright Testify Selenium).
6. Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
7. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
8. High English language proficiency.
