Virtual Rockstar is seeking a detailoriented and proactive Insurance Verification and Prior Authorization Specialist to join our client s dynamic physical therapy team in New Hampshire. This remote position plays a crucial role in ensuring patients receive the care they need without insurancerelated obstacles.
Our client s practice strives to be your familys physical therapist. Their mission is to provide cuttingedge evidencebased services that help their patients feel their best. They specialize in joint manipulations dry needling diagnostic ultrasound and cold laser treatments all delivered through personalized 1:1 care with 40minute individualized treatment sessions. They value worklife balance ongoing education and a supportive environment for both their patients and their team.

Responsibilities:
Verify patient insurance coverage and benefits
Obtain preauthorizations for various procedures
Update patient files with accurate insurance information
Clearly explain insurance benefits to patients
Liaise with insurance providers to clarify coverage details
Track the status of pending insurance claims
Assist patients with insurancerelated queries and concerns
Previous experience in insurance verification or prior authorization preferably in a healthcare setting
Strong understanding of insurance processes and terminology
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Familiarity with Nextiva phones Prompt EMR Virtual Sally (or similar virtual kiosks) and Google Chat is a plus
Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills
