Key Responsibilities:
1. Market Research & Property Identification:
o Assist in identifying potential locations for new retail stores by conducting market research and analysis.
o Evaluate local demographics footfall potential and competitive landscapes.
2. Site Visits & Initial Assessments:
o Conduct site visits to assess property suitability based on location accessibility and visibility.
o Prepare basic reports with key findings and recommendations for shortlisted properties.
3. Negotiation Support:
o Support senior managers in negotiating lease terms rental agreements or purchase contracts with landlords or brokers.
o Gather necessary documents and coordinate followups with property owners or agents.
4. Coordination & Documentation:
o Work closely with legal and finance teams to compile and review documents related to property acquisition and agreements.
o Maintain updated records of property details contracts and approvals.
5. Vendor & Broker Relations:
o Build relationships with brokers agents and developers to stay informed about new property listings.
o Coordinate and manage broker communications and property inquiries.
6. Regulatory & Compliance Assistance:
o Assist in ensuring all legal zoning and regulatory requirements are met for selected properties.
o Support in obtaining necessary permits and approvals in coordination with relevant teams.
7. Reporting & Feedback:
o Prepare regular updates and summaries on property acquisition progress for the team or management.
o Provide feedback on challenges and opportunities during the acquisition process.
