Banqueting Manager
Our client a 5 star establishment based in Ballito requires a Banqueting Manager that will be responsible for planning coordinating and executing all banqueting and event operations within the hotel. Experience in large scale weddings is essential corporate events as well as charity events would be advantageous.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements including menus setups and schedules.
- Develop detailed event plans ensuring seamless execution of all functions with a strong focus on large scale weddings.
- Work closely with other departments (kitchen housekeeping front office) to coordinate resources and logistics.
- Prepare budgets forecasts and cost control measures for banqueting operations.
- Monitor and control expenses ensuring profitability while maintaining service quality.
- Work with the sales team to develop and promote banqueting packages to maximize revenue.
- Maintain excellent guest relations ensuring satisfaction before during and after events.
- Handle guest inquiries concerns and feedback professionally and promptly.
- Seek opportunities to exceed guest expectations and enhance loyalty.
