Job Description

Resourcery based in Cape Town delivers tailored professional services to a global clientele spanning finance marketing analytics and more. For this role you ll partner with a missiondriven global venture capital firm in London investing in health and climate technologies


The company shares an insatiable curiosity drive and entrepreneurial spirit. They are an international tightknit and highly motivated team looking for a talented Business Operations Manager to join them. This team sits at the intersection of supporting the technology companies invested in and building improved workflows and processes for the investment team.


As a Business Operations Manager your role will involve a mix of operational support data analysis and manipulation and process optimization helping both our portfolio companies and our internal teams work smarter. This is a role for someone who gets excited about organization and perfection is eager to make an impact and can tackle a variety of tasks with a proactive cando mindset.


Key Responsibilities


Reporting directly to the Head of Operations your duties and responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
  • Streamline processes: use low to nocode tools like Zapier Canva and ChatGPT to build automate and optimize workflows and workspaces

  • Writing and communications: draft and review externalfacing communications with attention to detail and impeccable copyediting skills

  • Data management & financial analysis: work with Excel Google Sheets to clean manipulate and reformat data. Lots of data will be financial KPIs such as revenue growth cash flow and profitability metrics so comfort for P&Ls would be a plus

  • Research: tackle openended research tasks with minimal direction delivering actionable insights and recommendations

  • Financial Reporting: support the preparation of presentations and reports that summarise financial data for stakeholders

  • Proactive problemsolving: identify inefficiencies and propose solutions without being asked your initiative will be key.


Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

As an ideal candidate you must have the following:


  • Minimum 3 years of experience in business operations administration or a related field

  • A passion for optimization streamlining and making systems work better

  • Experience or familiarity with low to nocode tools like Zapier Canva Notion and ChatGPT

  • Financial literacy and comfort working with key financial metrics including the ability to interpret financial data

  • Proficiency in handling and analysing data in Excel and Google Sheets including formulas and pivot tables

  • Obsessive attention to detail especially in writing and editing externalfacing content

  • A selfstarter who thrives with minimal direction and loves taking initiative

  • Comfortable researching and digging into vague or loosely defined tasks.

  • Techforward and eager to learn and leverage new tools to enhance productivity

  • Proficient in English fluently and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
