As a Direct Sales Agent you will play a crucial role in promoting the banks products and services driving customer acquisition and fostering longterm customer relationships. You will serve as the first point of contact between the bank and its prospective clients focusing on understanding customer needs and providing tailored financial solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Sales and Marketing:
- Identify and approach potential customers to offer savings loans and other financial products.
- Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets.
- Promote the banks products through doortodoor marketing fieldwork and referrals.
Customer Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain positive relationships with clients to enhance loyalty and customer retention.
- Gather feedback from customers and provide insights to improve service delivery.
Product Knowledge:
- Gain indepth knowledge of the banks offerings and services to provide accurate information to customers.
- Educate clients on financial products repayment terms and benefits.
Market Research:
- Identify market trends and opportunities to expand the banks customer base.
- Provide input to management about customer demands and competition.
Operational Duties:
- Assist customers in opening accounts and completing necessary documentation.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the banks policies during customer onboarding.
- Prepare daily weekly and monthly sales reports and submit them to the supervisor.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of a high school diploma (BSc/HND in Business Marketing or a related field is a plus).
- Proven experience in sales preferably in the financial services sector.
- Strong communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet targets under minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in local languages and knowledge of the target market is an advantage.
