Job Summary:
The Community Engagement Officer serves as a critical liaison between the organization and its community fostering connections and facilitating effective communication to enhance engagement develop programs and promote organizational goals. Additionally this role is responsible for overseeing office operations and ensuring smooth coordination of programs events and client interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
Community Engagement and Program Development:
- Develop and execute outreach plans to increase community involvement.
- Coordinate the daytoday operations of community engagement initiatives.
- Plan coordinate and implement various programs and activities.
- Build and maintain relationships with customers stakeholders and industry professionals.
- Organize and manage events to boost brand awareness.
- Monitor track and report feedback and online reviews to assess program effectiveness.
- Support growth and development of community programs.
- Prepare and manage budgets ensuring expenditures are tracked efficiently.
- Coordinate data collection and maintain accurate project files and policies.
Office and Space Management:
- Oversee office operations ensuring client and company needs are met.
- Coordinate monitor and manage bookings for coworking spaces training spaces catering and related services.
- Write daily reports for the direct manager about the space usage and engaged visitors.
- Ensure all operational standards and safety protocols are implemented during working hours.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Manage communications in person by phone through media relations and via social media.
- Coordinate with related team to align on objectives.
- Represent the company in internal and external committees meetings and events.
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
- Support planning coordination and promotion of the companys functions and initiatives.
Event and Technology Support:
- Schedule and organize meetings/events and maintain agendas.
- Ensure appropriate use of technology for operations including classroom setup video conferencing presentations and social media content creation (photos/videos).
- Ensure attendance tracking during programs and maintain records.
- Provide hospitality including welcoming and catering for participants at events.
Administrative and Miscellaneous Tasks:
- Prepare paperwork order materials and maintain supplies inventory.
- Develop contracts and terms of agreement for space and service users.
- Assist with updating plans budgets and organizational policies.
- Represent the company professionally when interacting with clients colleagues and external parties.
- Support the team as needed and when needed.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in business communications public relations or a related field.
- Proven experience in community engagement outreach or related roles.
- Excellent interpersonal communication negotiation presentation skills and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in digital tools and social media platforms for communication and outreach.
- Proficiency in both written Arabic and English is required.
- Proficiency in CRM marketing tools and MS Office Suite.
- A creative mindset with the ability to solve problems and think strategically.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines.
