Job Description
My client is an industry leader for cheque provision and other security printing solutions in Nigeria and has become the preferred supplier of cheques to major banks in Nigeria Its services cut across the financial manufacturing entertainment education sectors as well as Government agencies in Nigeria and across several African countries. Due to expansion they are in need of an Head of Audit
Location: Lagos
Job Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a comprehensive riskbased annual audit plan.
- Oversee audits of financial operational and IT systems to identify risks.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls and risk management processes.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements policies and procedures.
- Prepare and present clear concise audit reports to management and the board.
- Monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.
- Lead mentor and develop the internal audit team for high performance.
- Serve as a liaison between internal audit management and external auditors.
- Provide expert advice on internal controls governance and risk mitigation.
Job Requirement:
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting Finance Economics or related field.
- Professional certifications such as ACA ACCA CIA or CISA are required.
- Minimum of 8 years of audit experience
- Strong knowledge of auditing standards and internal control frameworks.
- Experience in the financial services or microfinance banking sector preferred.
- Proficiency in audit software financial systems and risk management tools.
- Excellent analytical communication and problemsolving skills.
