Overview:
A PreSales Manager oversees the presales process coordinating between sales and product development teams to ensure alignment with customer needs and market trends.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present product demonstrations to clients.
- Train and mentor presales and sales teams.
- Provide basic technical support during the sales process including drafting proposals responding to RFPs & creating FRD s etc
- Coordinate with the marketing & sales team and participate in activities such as trade shows and workshops etc.
- Engage with customers to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions during the sales journey.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor offerings to provide informed recommendations.
- Assist in the development of sales strategies based on technical insights market analysis and customer feedback.
Criteria & Required Skills:
- Proven work experience as a PreSales Manager or similar Sales support role with minimum 5 years experience in a similar role
- Strong presentation and communication skills.
- Excellent analytical and strategic thinking skills.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Basic technical background typically in engineering or IT.
- Ability to work collaboratively with sales and technical teams.
- Problemsolving skills and a customeroriented mindset.
Education:
A bachelor s or master s degree in Computer Science business marketing or a related field is typically required along with relevant experience in IT presales or sales management.
